My Leave List in OrangeHRM offers the employee the ability to view all the leave requests made by the employee from the system and take action against them if an employee needs to check the progress of a leave request made.
Step 1- Go to Leave >My Leave
Select the period for which you want to filter the leave requests you have made. Then, choose the leave status. Cancelled, Scheduled, Taken, or Rejected to refine your search. Click on the Search button. Once clicked, records will be displayed based on your search criteria.
Based on the work shedule if an employee applies for a half day leave , the time is shown as per below example, Ex: The working hour is from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break from 12.00 pm - 1.00 pm. When I applied for half-day leave in the morning, the time shown in my calendar is from 9.00 am - 1.30 pm. Ideally, the above scenario should get explained in the article below
From my leave list, employees will only see their own leave requests. Therefore, the only action available for the employee to take is to cancel the request before it is approved.
However, apart from actions, the employee is capable of viewing the leave balance, going to the detailed view of the request, and sorting the list based on the given filter options.
