Timesheets are techniques that are used to measure and track the daily work of an employee or track the work done by an employee for a specific project. The number of activities and the time taken for each activity can be mentioned in the timesheet. However, certain timesheets can be closed or frozen by a company for various reasons. A few of those instances could be when :
- When a project is been on hold.
- When a timesheet does not add value to the current project.
By using OrangeHRM, supervisors can easily freeze /close the timesheet(s) by doing so managers can identify which timesheets have added value to the company or for a specific project. Timesheets can be closed or frozen for modification by global/regional admin.
Go to Time Tracking -> Configuration -> Timesheet Period. By following this path the following screen will be triggered.
Step 1: Prefered timesheet(s) can be frozen by toggling this button. A warning message will be followed as below.
Step 2: Upon clicking 'YES' all timesheets of the specified time period will be frozen.
Reactivating Timesheets
Step 1: Preferred timesheet(s) can be reactivated by toggling this button. The following pop up warning screen will appear as below.
Step 2: Upon clicking 'YES' all timesheets of the specified time period will be reactivated.
