An interview is a vital element in the recruitment process as it is the stage that helps to choose the most appropriate candidate(s) for a company. Therefore, an interviewer should be well prepared for the interview. Creating appropriate questions and preparing job-specific tests is the best way for an interviewer to get prepared for the interview. By conducting tests during the interview, an interviewer can identify and assess whether the candidate has the relevant skills and abilities necessary for the job. A few of these tests are IQ tests, Aptitude tests and etc.
With the help of OrangeHRM, HR professionals can create customizable tests relevant to their requirements that help them to fully assess the candidate based on defined criteria.
Go to Recruitment -> Configuration -> Standard Tests. Upon following this path, the following screen will be triggered.
Step 1: Click the button to add a new Test. Upon clicking this button the 'Add Standard Test' screen is displayed.
Step 2: Complete the following fields of the 'Add Standard Test' screen.

The outcome of the test is determined either through : · Numeric Score · Pass or Fail These options can be selected from the dropdown. |
Maximum score |
The maximum score for the test. This is an optional field that appears when 'Numeric Score' is chosen as the 'Test Outcome'. |
Description |
A suitable and brief description of the test. |
Attachment |
The user can add an attachment to the test by clicking the icon. However, this is optional. |
Step 5 - Click the 'Save' button. Upon clicking this button the newly created test is added to the list of 'Standard Tests'
