In certain organizations, the employee and supervisor may meet at the beginning of the year to discuss goals for the current year. Based on that discussion, the employee can define goals for themselves in the system and submit them for approval.
To Add a Goal, Select Performance > Goals > Goal List
The following goal statuses are listed on the side of the Goal List:
Goal Status | Description |
All | All the goals list down irrespective of the status of the goal. |
Pending | Only the goals with a completion rate of 0% lists here. |
In Progress | Only the goals with a completion rate of more than 0% and less than 100% lists here. |
Achieved | Only the goals with a completion rate of 100% lists here. |
Not Achieved | Any goal marked as "Not Achieved" list down here |
On Hold | Any goal marked as "On Hold" list down here |
Step 1: Click the down arrow icon incorporated with the goal to change the progress of the goal.
Step 2: Click the "+" or "-" icon to increase and decrease the progression of the goal.
Goal and OKRs accomplishments can now be progressed beyond 100% to recognize and highlight who have exceeded expectations.
Step 3: Click the "i" icon to see the goal description.
Step 4: Click the 'goal weight'. You can see the Adjust weight.
Step 5: In the goal list, the user can change the weight of the goals and it will show an indication of the weight changes according to the given goal weight percentage.
Step 6: To update the goal's status, click the down arrow next to the goal's status.
Add Goals
Step 7 - To create goals, click the "Create goals" button.
Step 8 – Complete the following fields in the form and Click 'Save'.

Step 9 – To add sub-goals to the parent goal, click "Add Sub Goals."
Step 10 – Include the sub-goal details.
Step 11 - After adding the sub-goals to the parent goal click save.
Step 12 - If all the required information is added click "Submit" so the system will trigger an email notification to inform that their subordinate has submitted a goal.
Perform Action Over Goals
Once the supervisor has approved the goal, you can update the goal progress by navigating to the My Goals list or by going to the detailed view of the goal. Once you have updated the goal or if the goal is completed you can add comments and submit the goal.
During the performance evaluation process, should you wish to attach any documentation to support the performance review such as proof of work or any other materials relevant to accomplishing the goal that your manager or HR admin has assigned for you, now you can attach all such documentation for the relevant goal by clicking this attachment icon.
How to create Objectives
It is possible to create OKRs by navigating to Performance -> Goals -> My Goals -> Create Objective
Step 1 - First create an objective and add key results. When clicking the "Add Objective" option, it will direct you to the following screen where you can enter details about the objective.

Step 2- Once you save the Objective, it enables you to add Key Results to the created Objective. A Key Result is also a goal that retains the behavior of goals except:
- It can have a metric (optional)
- It has a parent (mandatory, and cannot be changed)
- It cannot have sub-goals
Step 3- Once the Objective has been assigned for you you can update the progress of the objective by updating the key results and the total completion rate of the objective is automatically shown.
