The latest OrangeHRM update brings flexible scheduling, allowing users to adjust their work hours weekly or daily. They can set their start and end times to match their needs, ensuring they meet their required hours. The system also adjusts leave hours to fit the flexible schedule, ensuring practicality. Additionally, users can easily add different types of workdays like full days, half days, or non-working days for added flexibility.
A new icon has been integrated into the OrangeHRM Buzz page and Candidate Profile page, enhancing user navigation. This icon directs users to the OrangeHRM main Dashboard page within the same tab if the user accidentally closes the main OrangeHRM web page. This improvement allows users easy navigation between the Buzz page and the main interface, ultimately boosting productivity and usability.
Similar to the Buzz page, the Candidate profile also has a new home icon to assist the user in getting back to the OrangeHRM Main Dashboard if the user accidentally closes the OrangeHRM main webpage.
Users can now add 'Advanced Type' custom fields within the 'Other Job Details' section of the system. This enhancement enables users to include 'Job Title' or 'Sub Unit' as advanced type fields.
When the advanced type field is added as 'Job Title', users will be given a link to download the job specification corresponding to the chosen job title.
The Working Weekend feature now allows administrators the ability to define specific shift in and out times for weekend work in addition to choosing a full day or half day, ensuring precise control over weekend work hours. Additionally, the system offers the convenience of displaying default shift times, based on either country default work schedules or system defaults. This functionality streamlines the scheduling process by automatically populating standard shift times, promoting consistency and efficiency in workforce management. Whether adhering to country-specific regulations or system defaults, administrators can seamlessly configure weekend schedules to accurately meet organizational requirements.
Additionally, this addition allows deducting leaves for hour-based leaves.
