Admin user can edit the default email templates used in notifications. The reason why you may require to use this feature is perhaps when you do want to change the current layout of the default Email Template due to it not aligning with the company terminology or due to various other reasons.
To edit Email Notification Templates, you need to go to Admin > Configuration > Email Notifications. Once you're in the screen follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1 – Click the icon for the notification you want to the templates to be changed. The template list will appear.
Step 2 – Click icon to edit the default template. You can make a copy and edit the copy by clicking Icon.
Step 3 – Click the icon of the default template or the copy you made. Edit template screen will appear.
Step 4 – Use the text editor to change the template. Make sure not to change the Tokens as they are used to retrieve data related to the employees. You can remove tokens if they are not needed and change positions.
Step 5 – Click Save.
Step 6 – If the changes are done to the copy you made, you need to change the applicable template for each subscriber. Go to a Subscriber list of the relevant notification.
Step 7 – Change the template to the new template you created and click save.
