Employment status is the status of a worker in a company on the basis of the contract of work or duration of work to be done. When an employer hires someone it is up to them to assign their new hire with employment status. Employees may have different rights depending on their employment status.
Employment status defines the rights and responsibilities that an employee has to work, and therefore determines what is required from the employer.
As the way, people's work has been evolving with increased flexibility and greater options and so have the types of employment status. However,
Go to Admin -> Job -> Employment Status
Step 1 – Click the ‘Add’ button on the top right-hand corner of the screen. The Add Employment Status Screen appears as follows.
Step 2 – Enter a name for the Employment Status and click ‘Save’. The new status is shown in the list.
