    Punch In and Out Records

    This feature allows capturing the number of hours an employee spends working for the company. This feature is only available to the users where they can easily record their office in and out times through the system.

     

    There are three ways of accessing the Punch In/Out screen to record your attendance.

    1. Using the Time at Work Widget in the Dashboard in OrangeHRM Web

    2. Navigating to the Punch In/Out screen from the Attendance Module in OrangeHRM Web

    3. Using OrangeHRM Advanced Mobile App

     

    1. Using the Time at Work Widget in the Dashboard in OrangeHRM Web

    Click on the Stopwatch icon in the Time at Work dashboard widget to easily access the Punch In/Out Screen in the Attendance module to record your attendance records.

    2. Navigating to the Punch In/Out screen from the Attendance Module in OrangeHRM Web

    Select Attendance > Punch In/Out in order to record your attendance.

    If the HR Admin has configured the attendance settings, by not allowing employees to edit the date and time for both punch in/out, the system will automatically capture the “system time”.

    The following example shows the employee can select the date and time when punching in/out.

     

    Step 1 - In the Punch In screen, add a note and click "  IN"

    While you're getting ready to leave the office, you may log into the system and Punch out. 

    Step 2 - In the Punch-Out screen, add a note and click " OUT"

    3. Using OrangeHRM Advanced Mobile App

    OrangeHRM Advanced Mobile App will allow you not only to record attendance but also to capture the geo location and a picture of the employee at the time of record if you have enabled the Selfie and Geolocation Capturing feature in your OrangeHRM.
