Creating an appraisal is not an easy task as the right questions need to be mentioned in the appraisal form. Also, these questions should be designed in such a way that it fully covers work done by an employee within a specific period of time. Usually, this working period is considered to be as 6 months or 1 year.
Moreover, these questions should not sound very strict and demanding, instead, it should sound very casual and friendly. HR professionals and supervisors can use OrangeHRM's 'Add Questions' feature to create personalized questions that match their requirements. The user can pre-define and store the questions to be used in appraisal forms.
Go to Performance -> Configurations -> Appraisal -> Questions (tab). Upon following this path the following screen is triggered.
Step 2 – Click the 'Add' button which is towards the top right-hand corner of the above screen.
Step 3 – Define the question.
Step 4 – Select the preferred job title(s) from the 'Job Titles' list.
Step 5 - Select the preferred evaluator group(s) from the mentioned "Evaluator Groups'
Step 6 – Click 'SAVE' after completing step 3, 4 & 5.
Note: Please note that deleting the questions can lead to data loss in previously created appraisals. If a specific question is deleted, it will be removed from all the appraisals in the system. If the user does not want a question to appear in future appraisals, then he/she can unselect the defined 'Evaluator Groups' instead of deleting.
