Employees in an organization need to submit their timesheets so their managers, HR professionals, and project managers can gauge how their time is utilized. They should be able to readily approve, reject, or edit the timesheets of an employee without much hassle. OrangeHRM’s feature of ‘Approving or Rejecting Timesheets’ helps the manager, HR professional, and the project manager to easily approve, reject, edit and add a timesheet. Once the employee submits the Timesheets, it will be available for their supervisor or admin’s review.
To access this feature go to: Time ->Timesheets ->Employee Timesheets. The ‘Employee Timesheets’ screen is displayed as follows. This screen consists of all pending employee timesheets.
Step 2 – In the timesheets list, click on the ‘Employee Name’ and the ‘Timesheet Period’ of the desired employee to view the timesheet of the employee. The timesheet of an employee is displayed as follows.
Step 3 – Click ‘Approve’ or ‘Reject’ or *’Edit’ buttons. A confirmation / rejection screen is shown upon clicking ‘Approve / Reject ‘. Afterward, the user can add a comment if needed and click ‘Confirm’.
* Edit- The following screen is displayed upon clicking ‘Edit’.
Note: The admin can switch between employee timesheets easily by clicking the icon and selecting the employee name to be switched to. The employee switch screen is shown below.
