Leave Calendar is now highly configurable to match specific organization needs.
Admin can now configure the Leave Calendar to differentiate and show leave of employees from below criteria.
- Same Location
- Same Sub Unit
- Same Country
- Same Supervisor
- Entire Organization
In addition to above filter, the admin can also hide different leave statuses displaying in the Leave Calendar. You can select to hide from below Leave Statuses.
- Pending Approval
- Scheduled(Approved)
- Canceled
- Rejected
- Taken
It is also possible to only include certain leave types to display in the calendar as per organization’s preference.
By applying necessary configurations, you can also set the employees to see the leave of their Supervisor’s or people above their hierarchy.
Default feature of employee seeing subordinate leave and Regional Admin seeing leave of employees under respective region(s), remain unchanged in the calendar view.
However, it is possible to decide what leave statuses can be hidden in the leave calendar, for those default scenarios as well.
Ex: DGM Pvt Ltd. has a branch in Australia and another in New Zealand. The Finance Division of the company is in New Zealand but CFO is in Australia.
The management requires their employees to see all other employees’ approved leave, as long as they are within the same Country.
They would not mind lower level employees seeing leave of higher level employees as long as they are within the same Country. They believe their operations would be smooth and easy to plan when the absences are transparent.
However, they also want employees to see their supervisor’s approved leave regardless of the country.(CFO is from a different country than the subordinates)
Above is an ideal situation Mr. Brown as the HR Administrator of the system, can configure the leave calendar view for all employees in bulk. Below image shows how easily he can configure the leave calendar to meet above expectation.
