Timesheets are techniques that are used to measure and track the daily work done by an employee or track the work done by an employee for a specific project. The number of activities and the time taken for each activity can be mentioned in the timesheet. However, certain timesheet can be closed or frozen by a company for various reasons. Few of those instances could be when :
- When a project is been on hold.
- When a timesheet does not add value to the current project.
By using OrangeHRM, supervisors can easily freeze /close the timesheet(s) By doing so managers can identify which timesheets have added value to the company or for a specific project. Timesheets can be closed or frozen for modification by global/regional admin.
Go to Time -> Configuration -> Timesheet Period. By following this path the following screen can be triggered.
Step 1: Prefered timesheet(s) can be frozen by toggling this button. By doing so a pop warning message appears.
Step 2: Upon clicking 'YES' all timesheets of the specified time period will be frozen.
Reactivating Timesheets
Step 1: Preferred timesheet(s) can be reactivated by toggling this button. The following pop up warning screen appears.
Step 2: Upon clicking 'YES' all timesheets of the specified time period will be reactivated.
