Records in the Job History and Salary History sections of the Job and Salary PIM pages can not be updated or changed.
However, records in the two History sections can be removed by making a change in the Job and Salary pages and then saving it. Once a change has been saved, a new record will be added to the History section of the respective pages. The older record(s), but not the new record, can then be deleted from the History sections.
Job History Example:
A user inputs the incorrect joined date in the Job page for an employee. A record with the incorrect joined date will then be added to the Job History section. To remove this record, the user will need to change the incorrect joined date to the correct date.
Once the change has been made and saved, the user can then delete the record, with the incorrect joined date, from the Job History section.
Salary History Example:
A user inputs the incorrect annual basic payment in the Salary page for an employee. A record with the incorrect annual basic payment will then be added to the Salary History section. To remove this record, the user will need to change the incorrect annual basic payment to the correct payment.
Once the change has been made and saved, the user can then delete the record, with the incorrect annual basic payment, from the Salary History section.
