As an administrator in OrangeHRM, the Request Desk module helps you centrally manage employee requests such as IT support, letter requests, and self-resignations. It streamlines request handling by ensuring standardization, improving traceability, enabling employee self-service, and reducing administrative effort through automated notifications and paperless processes
How to Submit Requests
Step 1 - Go to Request Desk -> Submit Request section
Note that the request types and request desk form fields may vary based on the configurations set by the HR administrator.
Step 2 - Select a request type and click "Next".
Upon clicking, the following screen will appear.
Note - If you submit a request and you are also listed as an approver at one or more approval levels, the system automatically approves those levels for you.
Regional admins can assign approvers to requests from any location, even for requests with limited location access. This feature allows employees to connect globally with employees from different locations.
Additional fields like "Reason for Relocation/Transfer" and "Preferred Location of Transfer" are considered custom fields, and their presence or specifics may differ depending on how the HR administrator has incorporated them.
Step 4 - Use the table below as a reference to fill out the above form.

How to Submit Resignation Requests
The purpose of submitting the Resignation Request feature in the Orange HRM system is to introduce a critical step in the resignation process. It formalizes the employee's decision to resign, initiates HR workflows, ensures standardization and documentation, and helps maintain the privacy and security of sensitive information. It is a crucial part of the organization's HR processes and facilitates a smooth transition for the employee and the company. These custom fields are subject to variation based on the request forms.
Step 1 - To submit a Resignation Request, go to the submit request section and select the Resignation Request type from the drop-down list.
These request types will be based on the types that the admin has created on the system.
Step 2 - Upon clicking, the following screen will appear. Fill in the required information.
Step 3 - Use the table below as a reference to fill out the above form.
Step 4 - You can either save the form and continue later or submit it directly by clicking the Submit button.

How to Submit a Salary Increment Request
The purpose of this feature is to simplify and centralize the process, allowing administrators to create a dedicated request type where supervisors or employees can submit salary increment requests directly through the platform. By making the process more efficient and organized, it becomes easier for both employees and administrators to manage and track these requests.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Request Desk and go to the Submit Request section.
Step 2 - Select Salary as the Request Type from the dropdown.
Step 3 - In the Request for Employee section, enter your name. If you are submitting the request on behalf of another employee, enter the employee’s name instead, and then click Next.
Step 4 - Once clicked, the following screen will appear. Fill in the required information.
Note - If you submit a request and you are also listed as an approver at one or more approval levels, the system automatically approves those levels for you.
