OrangeHRM gives you the ability to punch in and out your attendance records, submit attendance records (if the pay policy is enabled), and view attendance records on a weekly basis via the OrangeHRM mobile application if this module is licensed.
The following are the key Attendance features that are available in the new mobile application:
- Punch in and Out
- Check My Attendance
- Submit Attendance sheets (if pay policy is enabled)
Punch In/Out
From your Mobile device, open the OrangeHRM Advanced mobile application and select the Attendance module from the navigation panel on the left-hand side. Next, select Punch in/out.
The application will capture the current date and time to record the punch-in/out times and you may also add notes if required.
Punch-In
Punch-Out
The system will also allow you to punch in for today even though you may have missing records for previous days.
The application will display a successful message for each punch-in and out activity that you enter. If, for example, you are undertaking client visits, you can simply record the times that you have spent with each client, and at the end of the day, the attendance records will be visible in the “My Attendance” Section.
The Total work duration and total leave duration for a specific week are displayed in the 'Daily Hours' chart. The attendance information for various time periods can be viewed by switching weeks using the date period field.
If a Leave falls within that particular period, this will also be reflected in the attendance summary screen and also on the attendance details screen.
By clicking the Attendance details you will see the detailed view of the punch-in and out-record information for individual days by switching days in the attendance details screen.
Pay policy (if Enabled)
If the pay policy is enabled, based on the pay policy rules defined, the application displays the number of hours that you have worked. If the user (logged-in user) has been included in a pay policy, the following features will be available on the My Attendance (Summary) page:
- Pay Period shall be displayed instead of Date Periods
- Attendance Sheet Status
- The pay Policy section which displays the user’s pay policy and accounted time duration for each pay rule category
- Daily Hours Chart to display daily attendance duration for the entire Pay Period (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly)
- Action log menu to capture the history of actions performed on the attendance sheet
- Submit button available for all “Not Submitted” and “Rejected” attendance sheets upon expiration of the viewing Pay Period
- If the system is configured to auto-submit attendance sheets at the end of the pay period, the 'Submit' button shall be available only when the attendance sheet is rejected.
