The Discipline Module in OrangeHRM is designed to ensure transparency and streamline communication between employees and HR teams regarding disciplinary matters. Through the module, employees can not only view the case but also actively participate in the process by providing their comments, submitting supporting documentation, and indicating their acknowledgment or appeal of the action taken. The system provides a secure and organized way for employees to interact with disciplinary cases, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the situation while maintaining proper record-keeping.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Discipline Module and go to My Cases.
Once the action is issued, the employee will be able to view that a disciplinary case has been filed against them. To view the detailed view of your case, click on the view button.
Step 2 -Employees can add their comments in the Employee Comments field to provide their perspective or explanation regarding the case. Certain sensitive information remains hidden and is not visible to the employee.
Step 3 - The employee has two options: to acknowledge the case or to appeal it.
Employees can choose to acknowledge the case to confirm they have received and understood the disciplinary action.
If the employee disagrees with the disciplinary action, they can select the Appeal option to submit their objection for further review.
Employees can attach relevant files, such as evidence, emails, or any supporting documents that may clarify their position.
Step 4 - Alternatively, if they wish to continue later, they can simply save the case and perform the remaining actions at a later time.
