Learn how to access the Roster, switch between weekly and monthly views, understand color codes, and navigate through different time periods.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Roster Module. As an employee, you can view the shifts that you have assigned.
- Green: Published shifts (finalized and visible to employees, who are notified).
- Orange - You have requested time off, but it hasn't been approved yet.
- Overnight Shifts - Overnight shifts are clearly marked on your roster with a green arrow icon.
Step 2 - Click on a shift to get a detailed view of the shift.
Step 3 - Click the Schedule Period dropdown. You can switch between Weekly view and Monthly View. By default, it will be viewed in the Weekly View.
If employees are assigned to multiple locations, they can now view them in their own roster schedule.
Step 4 - You can toggle between the weeks using the left and right arrow keys.
Step 5 - To print your Shift. Click on the three dots located at the top right corner of the screen. There you can find the option to print your Roster shift.
Step 6 - Click on the Print option. Upon clicking, the screen below will appear.
Assign Shifts Across Multiple Locations
You can now assign shifts to employees drawn from more than one location in a single operation, and the multi-location view supports full shift management — creating, updating and deleting shifts — not just viewing them. The same governance rules that apply in a single-location view apply here too.
- Open the roster and switch to the multi-location view.
- Select the locations you want to schedule across. The number of locations you can select at once is configurable by your Administrator.
3. Select the employees to schedule and create or assign their shifts as usual.
4. Save. Shifts are created for the selected employees across the chosen locations.
Note: Co-worker shift visibility can be set so employees see other shifts All in Location or All in Organization, depending on your configuration.
Note: A configurable week start day governs how the multi-location view is laid out.
