In the employee appraisal process, timely communication and clarity are essential. Once the final evaluator submits ratings and evaluations, the employee is notified and can either acknowledge the review or request clarification. In both cases, the evaluator receives an email notification, and the appraisal status is updated accordingly to reflect “Employee Acknowledged” or “Request for Clarification.” If clarification is requested, the evaluator must review the feedback and either resubmit the evaluations or provide a detailed explanation for the ratings, ensuring transparency and smooth progression to the next phase of the appraisal process.
This is a sample of the email notification that the main evaluator will receive.
Step 9 - Click on the dropdown near your name, where you will see options to Resubmit, Save, Read, and Download; click Resubmit to clarify the reasons for your review.
Step 10 - Upon clicking, the Appraisal Comment screen will appear; add your explanation and click the Resubmit button.
Step 11 - The appraisal status will then be updated to “Clarification Received," and the employee will be notified with the Request Clarification.
Step 12 - Once the employee acknowledges, the status will be updated to “Employee Acknowledged.”
