Additionally, employees can now download the full document directly through Citra AI. If you need to view the source, clicking on the eye icon will redirect you to the exact page where it is published in the system—whether it's a news post, policy document, or company update.

Employees Can Apply for Leave Using Citra

Employees can now submit leave requests seamlessly using Citra AI, the intelligent assistant within OrangeHRM. Simply send a natural language command like " Apply for vacation leave on February 2nd", and Citra AI will instantly generate a summary of your request, including leave type, dates, duration, and any comments.

You'll be prompted to confirm the details or make changes before submission. If everything looks correct, simply reply, " Yes, proceed," and the system will automatically apply the leave. A confirmation message will then be sent, confirming that your leave has been successfully recorded.

Leave Application with Citra AI: Automatic Blackout Period Detection

When an employee attempts to apply for leave through Citra AI, the system automatically checks against any active Leave Blackout Periods configured by the admin.

• If the requested leave dates fall within a blackout period, the system will display a warning message and prevent applying for leave. The employee will see details of the warning along with their requested leave information.
• If no blackout period is active, the leave application is processed successfully, and the employee receives a confirmation message with the leave details.

This ensures employees are always informed of leave restrictions while maintaining a smooth and transparent leave application experience.
