Employment status is the status of an employee in an organization based on the contract of work, or duration of the work done. There could be numerous types of Employments Status based on organizational requirements such as Permanent, Contract, Probation, Internship, Freelance, etc.,
The OrangeHRM tool provides the freedom of creating your own set of Employment statuses to cater to your local or organizational requirements.
Please follow the guidelines below to Add Employment Status to your system
Go to HR Administration -> Job -> Manage Employment Status
Step 1 – Click the ‘Add’ button on the top right-hand corner of the screen. The Add Employment Status Screen appears as follows.
Step 2 – Enter a name for the Employment Status and click ‘Save’. The new status will be added to the list.
