Citra Analytics is a conversational analytics tool built into Citra AI, OrangeHRM's intelligent chat assistant. It is designed for HR managers and admins who need quick insights from their workforce data without building reports or knowing any reporting tools. You ask a question in plain language, and Citra retrieves the data, explains the insights in plain English, and presents interactive charts so you get the exact answer you were looking for.

Because Citra Analytics runs inside OrangeHRM, you do not need data-modelling knowledge, external tools, or paid third-party accounts to use it. It is tuned specifically for HR analysis, so the results are precise and accurate. Citra Analytics is built to handle large organizations, including those with several thousand employees.

What you can ask

In this first phase, Citra Analytics supports the following types of workforce analysis. Each example below is a prompt you can type directly into Citra.

• Data completeness checks: Find employees with missing or incomplete records before you run financial or compliance reports.

  "Are there any employees missing job or salary details?"

• Attrition analysis: See how your attrition rate has changed over time, and break it down by department or time period to spot where you are losing people.

  "What is the attrition rate over the last three years?"

• Exit type analysis: Understand how many exits were voluntary versus involuntary so you can investigate the causes.

  "Show me an exit-type analysis for the past year."

• Reporting line checks: Identify employees with a missing or broken reporting line who may not have a supervisor to raise concerns with.

  "Who are the employees with a missing supervisor?"

• Retirement risk: Assess how much of your workforce is approaching retirement. Citra asks a clarifying question about your organisation's retirement age, then returns the details.

  "What is our retirement risk?"

• Gender distribution: Review the gender makeup of your workforce to support equal-opportunity reporting.

Understanding the results

For each question, Citra Analytics gives you a combination of the following:

• Plain-language insights: A key-insights summary and, where useful, suggested actions and follow-up questions you might want to explore.
• Interactive charts: Visuals with tooltips that show the underlying counts and percentages when you hover over them.
• Downloadable tables: The same data in table format, which you can download for a clearer view.
• Excel reports: A downloadable Excel sheet of the details behind the answer, for example, employee names, IDs, and which fields are missing, so you can review or take action on it later.

When to use Citra Analytics

OrangeHRM offers more than one way to get information out of the system. Use Citra Analytics when you want a quick, dynamic answer to a question in plain language without setting anything up. For reports you need to run repeatedly or schedule by email, the standard reporting module is still the right choice because it lets you save the fields, filter criteria, and layout for reuse.

How to open Citra Analytics

There are two ways to use Analytics mode:

• Automatically: Simply ask an analytics-style question in Citra, and your request is routed to Citra Analytics mode for you.
• Manually: Click the plus (+) icon in the Citra chat window and select Analytics mode before typing your question.

Note: Citra Analytics works across custom fields as well as standard fields, so checks like missing-data analysis cover the fields specific to your organisation.
