Every configuration and review action in Performance Core is recorded automatically, giving you a full history of who changed what and when. This covers creating, updating and deleting review templates, creating and deleting performance reviews, and changes to review plans. You review this history on the Audit Trail screen — nothing needs to be switched on for it to be captured.
What Is Recorded
Performance Core writes an audit record for actions including:
- Review template created, updated or deleted.
- Performance review created or deleted.
- Review plan changes, such as the New Hire Probation Review Plan being updated, activated or deactivated.
Review the Audit Trail
Open the Audit Trail screen.
Filter the records to the Performance Core area you are interested in — for example P, Performance Core - Performance Reviews, or Performance Core - Review Plans and Cycles.
Each entry shows the action taken, the record it applied to, and when it happened, so you can trace the change.
Use the export option to download the records (for example as a CSV file) for offline review or record keeping.
Note: The Audit Trail is a read-only history. You cannot edit or remove entries — this is what makes it a reliable record for accountability.
