Administrators can configure how employee names are displayed across the system, so naming follows your organisational and regional conventions. This includes support for LATAM naming, with separate Paternal Surname and Maternal Surname fields.
Configure the Name Format
Go to the Configure Name Format setting.
Choose the Name Format your organisation should use.
Save your choice.
Note: Under the LATAM format, each employee record captures a Paternal Surname (Father's family name) and a Maternal Surname (Mother's family name). The displayed surname is derived from these based on your configured preference.
Note: Changing the Name Format rewrites the Last Name on every employee record, and custom edits to surname fields may be overwritten. This cannot be undone automatically, so you are asked to confirm before the change is applied.
Role-Based Access
The Name Format is configured by the Administrator. Changes to name-format configuration are recorded in the audit trail.
