Copy Weekly Schedule - Enforce Shift Creation Rules and Role-Based Behaviour

The Copy Weekly Schedule action now respects the shift creation governance configured for the acting role. Where a Shift Manager is restricted to predefined Shift Types, or blocked from creating shifts entirely, the copy operation applies the same constraints rather than bypassing them.

Enforce Shift Type Validity on Shift Group Change

When a shift is moved to a different Shift Group, Shift Type validity is enforced according to the “Modify Shift Times” setting. This prevents shifts from carrying times that are invalid for the Shift Type available in the destination group.

Select Employees from Multiple Locations When Assigning Shifts

Shifts can be assigned to employees drawn from more than one location in a single operation, supporting organisations that schedule across distributed sites. The maximum number of selectable locations is configurable, and a configurable week start day governs the multi-location view.

The multi-location roster view supports full shift management - creation, update and deletion - rather than read-only visibility, with the same governance rules applied as in the single-location view.

Active Employment Period Enforcement

Shifts cannot be assigned outside an employee's active employment period. Validation is applied at the point of assignment, preventing scheduling and downstream payroll records that fall outside valid employment dates.

Shift swap requests are now captured in a dedicated audit trail, recording the request lifecycle and the users involved. Audit listeners are registered for the full set of shift swap request events.

Roster Reports - Aggregate Value Filtering and Grouped Report Exports
