The AI Summary panel gives the Final Evaluator a single view of an employee's appraisal: key achievements, how evaluator ratings compare with the self-assessment, recurring themes, goal progress and an overall insight. You no longer need to open each comment or switch screens before giving the final rating.
Benefits of the AI Summary Panel
- Saves time by bringing ratings, comments, tracker entries and goals into one panel.
- Highlights rating gaps between the self-assessment and evaluator ratings.
- Keeps goal progress in view while you review.
Step 1 - Go to Performance > Appraisals and select the appraisal. The Appraisal Multiple View opens.
Step 2 - Click the AI Summary button (a star in an orange circle) at the top right of the appraisal card. The panel opens on the right of the screen. Drag its header to move it, drag its edges to resize it, and click × to close it.
Step 3 - Review the panel. The chips at the top show goal completion, goals met, overdue items, and how many evaluators have submitted. The sections below them are:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Top Achievements | Up to four highlights from completed goals, tracker entries and evaluator comments. |
| Feedback Patterns | How evaluator ratings compare with the self-assessment. Appears once at least one supervisor, peer or subordinate has submitted. |
| Tracker Themes | The most frequent positive and constructive themes from tracker entries and evaluator comments. |
| Goal Completion | Percentage complete, with goals met, in progress and overdue (past the due date and not complete). |
| Review Insight | A short AI-written comparison of self and evaluator ratings. Marked Final reviewer only. |
Note: The panel loads when you open the appraisal. If something changes, such as another evaluator submitting, close the appraisal and open it again.
Note: Parts of the panel are AI-generated. Check them against the full appraisal before you give the final rating.
