The supervisor can see the performance reviews of the employees who report to them, even when they are not the manager evaluator on those reviews. This lets Supervisors follow how their team is doing.
Step 1 - Click Performance Pulse in the main menu.
Step 2 - Click Employee Performance Profiles. The list shows the employees who report to you.
Step 3 - Select an employee. The Reviews tab opens, next to the Continuous Feedback tab.
Step 4 - Select a review from the Reviews dropdown. You see the review's evaluations.
- For an evaluation that has been submitted, the Supervisor sees all of its answers.
- For an evaluation that has not been submitted, the Supervisor sees only its status, Not Started or In Progress, not the answers.
- The view is read-only. A Supervisor cannot save or submit an evaluation, and does not see Create Performance Review, delete, or Reassign Evaluator.
- If the Supervisor is also the manager evaluator on a review, they complete that evaluation in the usual way.
Note: When the Enable Supervisor Chain setting is on, a Supervisor sees the reviews of everyone below them in the reporting line. When it is off, they see only the employees who report to them directly.
Note: Access follows the current reporting line. If a Supervisor is removed from an employee, they can no longer see that employee's reviews.
Note: An Admin can stop Supervisors from seeing reviews by removing Read from the Performance Pulse - Performance Reviews permission group on the Supervisor user role. The Supervisor then sees only the Continuous Feedback tab. Reviews where they are the manager evaluator are not affected.
