This document helps the user to understand how to use the performance module system functionalities, capabilities, and step-by-step procedures for system access and use.
Once the employee receives the email stating that their appraisal has been created, they can log into OrangeHRM to complete their self-review.
Review My Appraisal
The user needs to log in to the system and select "Appraisals" under "Performance" and click "My Appraisal". The system will navigate the user to the appraisals that are assigned to the user.
Performance-> Appraisals-> Employee Appraisal
Select the appraisal that is shown in the "Initiated" state as below. Upon selection, the system navigates the user to the appraisal form.
There are two views of an appraisal, one is the "Single View" and the other is the "Multiple View".

Select the highlighted icon at the top of the appraisal form to switch to the Multiple view option.
Once the system navigates the user to the screen where you need to rate yourself for the competencies, questions, or goals that were assigned for you. After you have filled the information, you can save, and if you are confident with the rate that is give,n you can submit the appraisal.
Once user clicks on the Review icon the system will direct you to the single view of the appraisal. The ratings can be added from 1 to 5 and comments against every Objectives and value in the appraisal form by giving the ratings based on the work performed during the period.
The ratings can be kept as in drafts by clicking the "Save" option and resume that for later review.
When the ratings are given, the user can click "Submit". Once you have submitted the appraisal you cannot make any changes.
Once you submit the self-review, the appraisal looks as shown below.
By default, the user cannot view the scores which were given by the supervisor or the other reviewers. Note: This is based on the permission set up by the HR manager.
