Improvements to Employee Timesheets
Improvements have been made to achieve better visualization of the employee’s timesheet information. This feature enhancement will be especially helpful for supervisors enabling them to easily check which subordinate has not yet submitted the timesheets. Also in this release, the supervisor can simply search for employee timesheets using the new filter capabilities and perform necessary actions on the timesheets by selecting them from the employee timesheet list.
Please refer to the following screen which captures the employee name, timesheet period, the status of the timesheet, and the total time spent.
If there are multiple timesheets present and the user wants to assemble all in order to take necessary action at once, OrangeHRM has introduced additional sorting capabilities allowing the following columns to be sorted:
- Employee Name
- Timesheet Period
- Status
- Total Time
The system provides the filter option to allow the user to narrow down the search results. With this feature, the user can search for timesheets that have statuses of approved, not created, not submitted, etc.
It is also possible to set the filter’s default criteria within the timesheet list so that, once the user navigates to the timesheet list, previously applied preserved. In addition, when the user sets the required filter as default within the Employee timesheet list, upon switching between the screens, the filter will persist when the user navigates back to the employee timesheet list.
Ability to add attendance records for incomplete records
In the scenario where an employee forgets to punch out on the past or previous day, the system will now allow punching in for the current day without compelling the user to punch out for the past or previous day before punching in for the current day.
Also, the admin is able to add missing attendance records for employees without forcing the employee to punch out.
