“Time management” is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between specific activities. Good time management enables you to work smarter – not harder – so that you get more done in less time. Through the OrangeHRM Time module, As an employee, you can simply log in to the mobile application and submit the timesheets and record the office in and out through the mobile application. The following are the features that are available in the time module.

The user can navigate to the Timesheets by tapping on the three-bar or swapping the screen from left to right.

Upon selecting the "My Timesheet" the application navigates the user to the following screen where the user can fill in the timesheet information as mentioned below. First, the user needs to select the timesheet period that the user needs to add the time by tapping into the left and right arrows and clicking the “Create Timesheet” button.
Next, select the "Daily Time Entries" option and then select the date that you want to add the time for and click the “Add” icon. In the Add entry screen, select the project that you want to add the time to and the activity. You can record the duration for a particular activity by tapping the "Duration" option in the summary timesheet and in the detailed timesheet you can select "From" and "To" time options to record the duration.

Once this is done, you can add the comments for the time entry and click save. Similarly, you can add the daily time entries, and if you can switch to another date that is also possible by selecting the date from the “Time Duration” screen.
If you want to edit the time slot that you have created, just click the time slot and edit the time entries and click "Save". The same applies if you wanted to delete the time entry, select the time slot, and click "Delete".
If a particular day is a holiday, a weekend, or an off day, those are shown both in the “Time Distribution” and the ‘Daily hours’ chart in the “Timesheet Details” screen.
By navigating back to the main screen you can see all the added time entries represented in a bar chart. Once you have completed the addition of entries for the timesheet, you can click submit. The application displays the confirmation message allowing the user to confirm. To proceed click yes. Once you have clicked “Yes” this request goes directly to your manager.
Additionally if the “Pay policy” is configured, the pay hours will be displayed in the employee timesheets The pay hour labels are abbreviated as RT, DT, OT, and WOT to indicate Regular time, Double time, Overtime and Weekly overtime.
Activity Duration
The Activity duration pie chart displays the distribution of hours worked as a percentage under each project activity during the selected timesheet period. Each Chart slice is labeled with the associated percentage value. Pie chart slice colors display the activity name, project name, and the time spent against each activity. Activities are arranged from the highest duration to the lowest. The same activity and project combination are displayed in the same color across multiple timesheets.
If the timesheet has tracked time for more than 10 categories; all other activities apart from the top 9 activities with the highest duration shall be merged into one single category called “Others” and will be displayed in a pie chart, The Legend shall display the cumulative number of hours of the combined activity group.
Status History
Status history captures each action the user performs on the timesheets. Ex: Submit Timesheet, Approve Timesheet, Reject Timesheet.
After that, Using this “Comment” option, Users can add comments for the timesheets.
