Automated report scheduling and delivery take information proactively to the right users at the right time. Scheduling the reports can,

With the OrangeHRM scheduled reports feature, it is now possible to schedule reports to be sent at a pre-defined frequency. Reports can be programmed to be delivered automatically to an employee, or multiple employees, or uploaded to a location via FTP transfer per the defined frequency thereby ensuring key information is delivered to management in a quick and efficient manner.
Navigate to Reports and Analytics -> Scheduled reports.
Prerequisites :
1. The relevent report needs to be created under the Reports and Analytics
2. Proper permission for the access of sheduleing the reports can be given under the user roles. By navigating to HR administration > Manage User roles > Add user roles
In this section, the list of created scheduled reports is displayed.
Step 1: Click the ‘Create Schedule’ option and complete the requested information.
The information required to create the schedule is detailed as follows.

Schedule Name |
Define the name of the schedule that you wish to create. For example, it can be a Monthly Employee Termination report or a Weekly Employee Salary report. |
Frequency |
Here you define how often the report will be sent. OrangeHRM allows you to choose from a one-time report, daily report, or weekly or monthly report options. |
Time Zone |
Select the time zone to which you wish the report to be sent. |
Report |
From the list of already created Employee Management reports, select the correct report you wish to send to the intended recipients. |
Status |
You can enable and disable already created reports. For this option, you need to select whether the report is in an activated state or not. |
Start Date |
The start date defines the date that the schedule should start. |
Time |
Define the time the report needs to be sent on the chosen date. |
Report Attached as |
Select the preferred file format option for the resultant report, either CSV or PDF. |
Step 2: Define the recipients for this schedule from the employee list and define whether the report will be sent via email, or uploaded to an FTP location.
If the ‘Email’ option is selected, update the following options and then set up the recipients.

Here you can dictate that the resultant report will also be sent to you as the logged-in user. |

Enter the names of additional recipients who should receive the report. |
If the ‘Upload’ option is selected, to share the report via FTP, choose an already created FTP Connection if available.
If your connection is not available in the list, you can simply create a new connection via the Add New Connection button.

How to update the scheduled report
If any updates or modifications need to be made to an existing scheduled report, simply click on the relevant report and edit to amend the configuration information.
