Citra AI helps streamline time tracking tasks by allowing managers to quickly review attendance records, approve or reject attendance sheets, and monitor attendance exceptions — such as late arrivals, missing or incomplete punches, early departures, and excess work duration — using simple prompts.
Bulk Approve or Reject Attendance Sheets
Citra AI allows managers to view and take action on multiple attendance sheets at once.
You can ask Citra to display attendance sheets that are pending your approval for a specific time period. Once displayed, you can approve or reject them in bulk. You may also filter results by a specific employee if needed.
Example prompts
- “What are the attendance sheets pending my approval for the last month?”
- “What are the attendance sheets for Fiona Grace that are pending my approval for last month?”
Citra will display the relevant attendance sheets awaiting approval.
Users can then approve or reject these records directly. To see additional information about any record, select View More icon.
Late Arrival Tracking
Citra AI can also help managers identify employees who were late based on their shift start times. You can request a list of employees who arrived late on a specific day or during a selected period, such as a particular month.
Citra will retrieve the relevant attendance records based on the configured rules, even for a single, named employee.
Note: Late arrival tracking depends on the rules configured in Attendance Exception Management. If these rules are not configured, late arrival records will not be reflected.
For more information on setting up these rules, refer to the article - How to Configure Attendance Exception Rules
Missing Records Tracking
Citra AI helps managers identify employees with missing attendance records — cases where an employee did not punch in and did not punch out for a scheduled shift.
Managers can request a list of employees with missing records for a specific date or selected period, including records for an individual employee if needed.
Example prompts
“Show missing attendance records for last week.”
“Who didn’t punch in or out yesterday?”

Note: Missing records tracking depends on the rules configured in Attendance Exception Management. If these rules are not configured, missing attendance records will not be reflected.
Incomplete Records Tracking
Citra AI helps managers identify employees with incomplete attendance records — cases where an employee punched in but forgot to punch out, or punched out but forgot to punch in.
Managers can request incomplete records for a specific date or selected period, including records for an individual employee if needed.
Example prompts
“Get incomplete records for this month.”
“Who punched in but forgot to punch out last week?”

Note: Incomplete records tracking depends on the rules configured in Attendance Exception Management. If these rules are not configured, incomplete attendance records will not be reflected.
Excess Duration Tracking
Citra AI helps managers identify employees who have worked beyond their scheduled shift duration using simple prompts.
Managers can request a list of employees with excess attendance duration for a specific day or selected period, such as a week or month. Citra will retrieve the relevant attendance records based on the configured attendance exception rules.
Example prompts
“Who are the employees with excess duration for this month?”
Citra will display the relevant attendance records with excess worked hours.
Note: Excess duration tracking depends on the rules configured in Attendance Exception Management. If these rules are not configured, excess duration records will not be reflected.
Early Departure Tracking
Citra AI also helps managers identify employees who leave before completing their scheduled shift hours.
Managers can request early departure records for a specific date or selected period. Citra will retrieve the relevant attendance records based on the configured attendance exception rules, including records for individual employees if needed.
Example prompts
“Which employees left early today?”
“Show early departure records for Emma Wilson for this month.”
Citra will display the relevant attendance records marked as early departures.
Note: Early departure tracking depends on the rules configured in Attendance Exception Management. If these rules are not configured, early departure records will not be reflected.
