A company generally has difficulties relating to employee attendance. In most organizations, a certain set of employees do not report to work on a daily basis. As a result, a company fails to track the attendance records of such employees. However, attendance records are important in HR activities and decision-making processes therefore not having such information can make the HR process difficult.
OrangeHRM has the capability to facilitate this requirement via the ‘ Export to CSV- Attendance’ feature. This feature allows the admin/ESS-Supervisor to export the attendance data into a CSV file. By doing so, the supervisor and the HR department can decide what course of action they are going to take.
To access this feature go to Reports & Analytics -> Attendance ->Export to CSV. The ‘ Export to CSV’ screen is displayed as follows.
Step 2 – FIll the above filtering criteria necessary to generate the report.

The user can specify the time period in which they want to generate the report for |
Include Days Without Attendance Record |
This includes all the attendance records with the days when an employee has failed to update the attendance records. |
Any holiday leave taken during the time period is also reflected in the CSV file. Those records are shown in the report as " No attendance records to display " as shown below.
If an employee is on leave for a day, the report shows no attendance records to display along with the reason as shown in the below figure.
Step 3 – Click ‘Export to CSV’ in order to download the file based on the defined criteria.
